At the core of XRQA is a powerful database
management system. In order to use XRQA you must first
describe your working environment. In most cases your account
will be pre set by us and you will be able to start using
the system straight away.

Quick Start :
- First step in setting up XRQA is to create
departments i.e. Main Department, A&E, Theatre etc. using
> Add" option in the main menu
- After you have created all departments you can start adding
rooms to the departments. Simply choose the department from
the drop down list, type a new room name and click "Add".
You will see a list of all rooms within that department. Please note that you can't have two rooms with the same
name in the same department.
Finally you can start adding equipment and
rooms. You can either choose to add equipment
by room or by equipment type. Please note that you can't have two pieces
of equipment with the same name in the same room.

that will allow you to later on easily find details about any
piece of equipment and to run relevant test on that equipment.
Changing your settings:

There are major differences between Deleting and Decommissioning
in the XRQA system. You should be cautious when using
these options and if you are unsure you should contact
us for assistance.
When you delete anything on XRQA it will be permanently
removed from the system, any associated entries will
also be permanently removed. For example, deleting a
department will delete all rooms associated with that
department, all equipment linked to the rooms and all
test data for that equipment. (see the hierarchy chart
When you decommission anything on XRQA it will be marked
as decommissioned and can be re-activated at later date.
Any sub linked elements will also be marked as decommissioned.
